What Are the Basic Things in a Good Health Insurance?

We really ought to think of health insurance as sickness insurance to help protect our loved ones from financial crisis. Insuring our health is our job, and we do pretty well on that score. We're more health conscious and generally in better physical condition than our parents were, but we live in a far different world. A hospital stay can easily cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. A single chemo treatment could cost you over $20,000. Health costs are insane! Nobody can withstand that kind of financial impact and obviously this type of budget could really crush us.

You might be forced to accept a health insurance policy with a higher deductible simply to be able to afford the premiums. What you can't afford to accept is health insurance that excludes or puts a low cap on serious illness. The alternative, losing all you've worked for your entire life, is unthinkable.

What can you do when health care costs are spiraling out of control and health insurance premiums have become all but unaffordable? If you expect your health insurance to cover all or most out of pocket expenses, your premium will be out of sight. Better to bite the bullet and pay the higher co-pay for a doctor visit or a lab test, especially if you are healthy and rarely use your insurance

That's a very famous quote from Dr. David Himmelstein, the lead author of a Harvard University study carried out jointly by researchers at Harvard Law School and Harvard Medical school that found the leading cause of personal bankruptcies in the U.S. are medical bills. Even people who had private insurance were faced with medical bills from a serious illness in excess of thirteen thousand dollars. And they thought they were insured!. It was much worse for cancer patients. Their uncovered bills averaged nearly thirty six thousand dollars. These are sobering, frightening statistics.

Let's suppose, If you or one of your loved ones is suddenly stricken with a major illness or you were seriously injured, the last thing you need is a mountain of debt that can wipe you out financially. When I was shopping for health insurance coverage recently, my agent told me something I should have known all along. He said that you buy health insurance to protect your assets. He's right of course. I just never thought of it that way. Have you?

Runescape Quest Walk Through

Runescape is most popular online computer game ever made. Runescape is a mmorpg (massive multiplayer online role-playing game) which is the same genre as games such as Warcraft and Ultima Online. Runescape has more than 197,000 members, which is a constantly growing figure. The amount of people that populate the game is more than the country of Liechtenstein! The game also holds the record for the number of online players simultaneously engaging in the same activity. The game is known for the way it constantly evolves and expands. There are loads of things you can do in Runescape from fighting with opponents and monsters to engaging in one of many jobs. The possibilities are endless and the world in which it is set is massive, making Runescape never boring!

The Runescape economy is much like the real world; unlike other Mmorpgs the game has more than one currency. One difference to the world is the fact that the development of your characters many skills is encouraged along side the accumulation of your wealth making the gaming experience much richer. There is inflation in Runescape much like there is in the real world, this and the economy in general is controlled by various means. Potatoes and Wheat make up the base of the economy, along with logs, coal, ore and fish. You can also collect raw meat by killing monsters. The next tier of the economy is made up of new items that are made up of the raw items. (Keeping up?!) These include metal bars, cooked foods, tanned hides, gems and runes. The third tier of the economy is made up of extremely rare items and other items made from things in the first two tiers. How rare the items are and/or the skill level of the player that crafted them determines the value of items in the game.

The weapons in Runescape are varied and exciting and can be bought, found or crafted. Again the more rare the weapon or the more skill it took to craft will determine the price of the weapon, which can be sold to other players.

Runescape is one of the most exciting and varied games you will ever play. Even if you are complete newbie to the world of online gaming the learning curve is perfect. Check it out today, you wont regret it!

The Psychology of Blogging

Did you know that for some people blogging is what they consider to be their full time job. And I'm not talking about the people that sell products or have ads running on their blogs. I'm talking about people that don't make any money on from there blog. But still spend hours upon thinking up content and posting it for there users to read.

Before blogging became popular, a political activist favorite tool was a picket sign(sometimes a firebomb, but that's a different conversation), now activist are changing the world with blogs, even the Taliban has a blog!

So what make blogs so popular? It's not like they offer stunning visuals, or are places to go to play the latest games on the internet.

The key to blogs popularity is the interaction between bloggers and there visitors. Blogs encourage conversation and give everybody a powerful voice. No matter what they look like, or what there occupation is in life, anybody can become a star with a blog.

That's why young teenage girls everywhere who don't feel like they get enough attention are starting blogs. Blogs give them a place to express there opinions and become the center of attention. Even if there just raving and ranting about there favorite singer they can still build up an audience.

But blogs aren't only used by people looking to change things in there lives or others for the good. Blogs can also be used as an evil tool to viciously tear down people. Almost all celebrity gossip originates somewhere on a blog. Whether it's true or not doesn't matter to some bloggers, they just do whatever they can to draw visitors to the blogs. So if that means ruining somebodies image, then so be it.

A good blog on the other hand, can add value to a persons life everyday. Numerous self-help blogs provide there visitors with helpful tips to make there everyday life better. And some people even credit blogs with saving there lives.

It's this kind of "one-on-one" interaction in blogs that is making them the dominant force on the internet. With a blog, the owner of it can interact directly with visitors in real time. And they can use there blog like a traditional website. But on a website you would have to install a forum in order to interact with your visitors in real time.

Knowing Your Golf Balls - The Dimples Count

Although they may appear like ordinary game equipment, golf balls are actually the products of physics and years of golfing tradition.

According to the standard international rules of golf, a single golf ball should not weigh over 45.93 grams, or close to two ounces. Its diameter should always exceed 1.68 inches, or 42.67 mm. A golf ball, moreover, should be in the shape of a symmetrical sphere. Golf balls, moreover, are scrutinized by two main accrediting bodies: the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and the United States Golf Association. If golf balls do not pass the tests and standards set by these two associations, these balls cannot be used in a golfing competition.

Such is the strictness associated with golf, but despite its seemingly misplaced austerity, the rules are not without their merits. Golf, after all, has been around for centuries, and the game as we know it today can be traced back to the Scots. Golf balls, moreover, can spell the success of a game: hit it right and swing it in the right direction, and you can land a hole in one. That, of course, discounts the effect of the wind, the sun in your eyes, the humidity in the air, and the overall setup of the golf course, but the importance of golf balls and their design can still not be discounted.

To understand how golf balls move and impact a game, it is important to look at how basic physics can affect the game of golf. The impact between the edge of a golf club and the golf ball lasts no more than a millisecond, but it is this impact that can ultimately judge how fast the ball can travel, at what angle it is launched, and the rate at which it spins - all of which will determine its final location. There are two main aerodynamic forces that act on the ball: lift, which buoys it through its trajectory; and drag, which forces it back and keeps it from moving.

In any sport, decreasing the drag on equipment will ultimately increase one's control over the equipment itself. The same is true in golf: if the overall drag on the golf ball is released, it can fly faster and follow one's intended direction better. This is why golf balls have dimples. These dimples can decrease drag by reducing the wake turbulence caused by the ball traveling through the air. Wake turbulence can be especially high in non-dimpled balls.

Dimples, moreover, can increase the backspin on a ball. In general, a backspin can increase a ball's lift by altering the shape of the air as it flows and forms around the ball. With more back spinning, a ball can fly much higher, and even longer in the air. However, dimples can also accumulate dust and grime, so golfers need to wash their equipment frequently, balls included. A clean golf ball translates into a balanced ball, cleared out dimples, and a game where the golfer is in better, greater control.

A golf ball will have, on average, anywhere from three hundred to nearly five hundred dimples. All balls have an even number of dimples, although there is only one kind of ball with odd numbers available on the market. This 333-dimpled ball is acceptable in golf games. A golf ball, moreover, has to be symmetrical, since a non-symmetrical golf ball can sometimes adjust its axis during mid-flight, and can wobble, causing direction changes that may or may not favor a golfer.

Aside from the position of the club, a golf ball can determine the merit of a shot. It may be surprising to outsiders, but a golfer can usually make more bad than good shots. This is because there are many possible factors that can allow the game to go wrong, such as sudden changes in wind speed and direction, differences in humidity at varying elevations of the golf course, and even the slightest noise from the crowd or the golfer's companions just before the golfer makes his swing. Such golfing mistakes can be described by a variety of terms, such as a slice, where the ball curves sharply in the direction of the player's playing hand; or a worm burner, where the ball bounces vigorously on the ground.

If you are interested in purchasing golf balls, then inquire at your local golf equipment store. Because there are many different brands available on the market, you will need to consult with an expert on what brands of balls are best for your game, and which are approved by international golfing committees. Before you tee off, clean your balls and make sure that they are free of dust and grime. With clean equipment and good working knowledge of golf, you can play a fulfilling and more enjoyable game.
